An image of an 8-year-old daughter fighting a robber with a baseball bat to save her father has become a hot topic online.
According to CBS on the 14th (local time), an armed robber appeared at a liquor store in Maplewood, Minnesota, USA.
The robber put a gun on the counter and demanded money, and the store owner, Leo, said, “I’ll give you the money and everything, but just ensure my daughter’s safety.”
When the robber did not stop threatening him even though he gave him all the money in the safe, Leo decided to fight the robber.
The released video shows Leo running towards the robber and subduing him. Her daughter, who was watching her, also grabbed her baseball bat and started beating the robber who was attacking her dad.
The robber, who was subdued by the father and daughter’s joint attack, was caught by police and charged with attempted first-degree robbery.
Leo said, “I didn’t know my daughter was helping until I saw the video,” and added, “I expected my daughter to be crying and screaming.”
