Nongshim, which was a rival to Samyang, used palm oil.

Even though Samyang Foods used second-grade beef tallow, which is the highest grade, the investigation was exaggerated as if it used substances harmful to the human body.
Samyang Foods is on the verge of bankruptcy.
In 1995, Samyang Foods was found not guilty.
Prosecutor Kang Shin-wook, head of the Special 2nd Department of the Seoul District Prosecutors’ Office, who led this case at the time.
In 1991, he worked as a fantastic duo with Kim Ki-chun in the Kang Ki-hoon will-manufacturing case. Served as a Supreme Court Justice from 2000 to 2006.
