Kim So-young (45) saved five people on her final journey.
The Korea Organ Tissue Donation Center held the donation at Chonnam National University Hospital in Gwangju on the 23rd of last month.
It was announced on the 18th that Mr. Kim donated his heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys (both sides) as a brain-dead organ donation.
Mr. Kim fell unconscious at home on the 6th of last month and was taken to the hospital.
He did not regain consciousness and fell into a brain-dead state.
Mr. Kim’s family worked as firefighters and paramedics for 20 years.
