(莊祖妃玉冊函)

Jade book box belonging to Queen Heongyeong (Hyegyeonggung Hong), the wife of Jangjo (Crown Sado).

A box to store jade books made by King Jeongjo in 1795 when he gave his mother, Lady Hyegyeonggung Hong, the additional title of ‘Hwimok (徽穆).’

The surface is painted red and decorated with gold, including plum blossoms, bamboo, orchids, and phoenixes.
