According to the Mechanical Equipment Act, warehouses are exempt from the obligation to install heating, cooling and ventilation equipment.

Coupang took advantage of this by registering all of its logistics centers as warehouses.

Even if the perceived temperature exceeds 40 degrees, it is legal even without installing an air conditioner on site.
