It has been revealed that a couple who fell into a canyon 100 meters below while driving Hyundai Motor’s subcompact Elantra N were rescued with minor injuries

According to the Washington Post WP on the 27th, Chloe Fields and Christian Zelada were traveling in Los Angeles, California, in an Elantra N in the middle of this month

They were passing through the Angeles National Forest in Los Angeles County when Elantra N slipped on gravel and rolled down a 300ft 91m canyon

Elantra N was smashed beyond recognition but the couple were not seriously injured

“Modern Elantra N is absolutely brilliant,” Fields tweeted, “I survived 300 feet down and I’m just grateful I could live another day.” Hyundai Motor’s U.S. governor commented, “Safety is our best value. I’m really happy that you’re safe.”
