Apple is reevaluating.jpg

December 28th, 2017.Message to
customer about iPhone battery and power
Recently, Apple has been collecting a variety of feedback from many customers on how we deal with the
performance of our old-fashioned iPhone and how we’ve been describing the process. I fully understand that there are a lot of people who are disappointed in Apple. I sincerely apologize for this. There have been a lot of misunderstandings regarding this issue, so I would like to take this opportunity to
examine the details and let you know what improvements we are preparing in the future.

I’m faithful to Nick’s value and started with an apology.

To prevent unexpected power-off
Deployed about a year ago, iOS 1021 included software updates that
improve power management when workload peaks to
prevent unexpected power down on iPhone 6
iPhone 6 Plus iPhone 6s Plus
iPhone SE. With this
Update installed, iOS will actively manage the maximum performance of some system components in the case of
that needs to be powered off. These changes may not be felt by users, but sometimes you may experience delays in running apps and other degradation in performance.
iOS 1021 has reduced unexpected power-off
effectively, and the customer response to this was
positive. Recently, iOS 112 has extended this feature to
iPhone7 and iPhone7 Plus.
Of course, if you replace a chemically aged battery with a new one, the iPhone performance in the
standard environment will return to normal.

It tells us what model it was applied to and
Generously admits that it could lead to poor performance.

To address customer concerns, repay customer support, and restore the
belief of everyone who might have doubted
Apple’s significance, Apple made the following decisions.
Apple originally paid for iPhone battery replacement other than warranty
We decided to reduce 66,000 won, equivalent to $50 from 79 to 100,000 won, equivalent to $29 to
34,000 won. The new
price will be applied worldwide by December 2018 for iPhone 6 or higher
users who need to replace their batteries. Details will be revealed soon through Applecom.
● At the beginning of 2018, we’re going to use our iPhone batteries
We’re going to deploy iOS
software updates with visible new features. This will allow
user to see how the condition of the battery affects the performance of the phone.

The direction of improvement in the future…
