The best Japanese food I personally experienced while living in Japan

I ate ham cutlass without even knowing that.

When I was poor, pork was expensive, so I made pork cutlet with cheap ham instead.

Somehow it survives and is being sold even in modern times.

The feeling of betrayal I felt after biting into it thinking it was pork cutlet is indescribable.

There is also Vienna Katsu as a sister product.

Today I ate something from a lunch box company for the first time in my life, so I’m posting a quick joke.

I thought it was fried oysters!!!!!
